All About Jayce
My dad and my step-mom:
These two mean so much to me. They have helped me through life since
I was a baby. They are both very hard workers. My step-mom works for the
government working on payroll for people. My father is the Manager of the
Detail Department at Willis Auto Campus in Clive, Iowa. I am my dads only
child and I consider my step-mom to basically be another mother to me.
We all enjoy hanging out as a family, which is becoming a rare occurence
due to me being a college student now. Even though I don't live with my
dad he has always done so much to make sure I learn things from him.
He tries incredibly hard to make sure that he is still a part of my life.
I owe them both so much.
My mother is one of the strongest people I know. She has raised 4 children
her whole life. She is a loving mother that has done anything she could to
make sure me and my siblings could live comfortably and be happy. She works
as a Parking Enforcement Officer for the D.M.P.D. Before that she worked at
the Des Moines Garage. Although I don't know her official title when she worked
there, I know she was the person that catalogued and analyzed the damaged
vehicles that would come into the garage. She was basically in charge of
getting everything done.Juggling a job like that while still managing
to be a great mother is always something that has stuck with me.
My Oldest sister Ashlie:
My sister Ashile is probably one of the hardest working people I know.
She graduated high school on time, when she was told she wasn't going
to be able to. Then she went on to college at Kaplan to become a Dental
Assistant, while maintaining two jobs. She then graduated college and found
a position in her field that she is happy with. She has become an excellent
role model to me.
My Sister Amber and my Niece Alyssa:
My sister Amber is 23 years old and she has the most adorable 3 year old
daughter; Alyssa. She attended college at Central University for two years,
but when her pregnancy and health issues became too much to cope with she
decided that she had best focus on her daughter and her health. She is now a
stay at home mother caring for her adorable daughter.
My Brother Payton:
My little brother Payton is one of the most rambunctious 9-year-olds you will
ever meet. He is always full of energy and willing to play games outside. While
he and I have butted heads more than a couple of times I will still always
consider him a great kid.
